WIFI steps into the spotlight with Indonesia’s first Wi-Fi 7
Sometimes the market gives you a clue before the story goes mainstream. On October 3, shares of WIFI (PT Solusi Sinergi Digital) jumped +10.18% to Rp3,140, just hours after the company unveiled Indonesia’s first Wi-Fi 7 network in Bali.
The event at SMPN 15 Denpasar was more than a PR show. Together with Huawei Indonesia and Bali Internet (Starlite), WIFI demonstrated speeds of 2 Gbps, nearly 50 times faster than Indonesia’s current average. A full HD movie was downloaded in just four seconds, marking what could be the beginning of a new broadband race.
Behind the scenes, our analyst highlights two key catalysts that could define WIFI’s next leap: a potential LINK acquisition and a highly probable 1.4GHz spectrum allocation. If both materialize, WIFI could redefine Indonesia’s fixed broadband landscape and emerge as a powerful new challenger.
The numbers also speak for themselves. In 1H25, WIFI booked EBIT and EBITDA margins of 60% and 75%, with earnings projected to grow at a 61% CAGR over the next five years. Our analyst sets a DCF-based target price of Rp7,800, which remains conservative. If current valuation multiples hold, the theoretical price could reach Rp34,400 by 2030, translating into a 65% CAGR.
It may still be early, but momentum is building fast. With next-generation technology, strong partnerships, and a bold expansion plan, WIFI is showing that in Indonesia’s digital game, the winner takes it all.
